De Lima reacted and criticized President Duterte on his statement that he will include the human rights advocates in his 'kill list' incase the drug problem in the country get worsen.
According to De Lima, the former Chairman of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), the statement should not be considered as a joke rather it should be taken seriously because it is a threat from the President of the country.
De Lima stressed out that we should not allow the president to threaten to kill the human rights advocates and saving himself to disconnect the Philippines from Criminal International Court or ICC.
Finally, De Lima stood for ending the impunity of speech as well as the work of the president and this can only be done by pushing what is right for the country.
