SECURITY IN US EMBASSY, TIGHTEN


   Security around the US Embassy has been tightened after discovery of an improvised explosive device (IED) near the compound on Roxas Boulevard in Manila. More police patrols notice around the US Embassy especially last night. Also on standby is a mobile police unit just a few meters away from the US Embassy.

Suspect

    Meanwhile, suspects who planted the IED near the embassy yesterday are possibly still in Manila, according to National Capital Region Police Office (PNP) Director Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde  on their amid an ongoing pursuit.

    ISAFP and other law enforcement agencies are also in their operation to find the suspects.

    He said they also demanded the footage from CCTV cameras installed in the US Embassy and near establishments.

   Albayalde is now holding the witness who can picture out the suspect planted the IED and said they will be releasing the composite sketch of it in the next few days.
