The Philippine National Police (PNP) initiated for retraining of policemnen to be deployed for the security of Miss Universe coronation night in January 2017.
According to PNP spokesman Senior Supt. Dionardo Carlos, they're already preparing the protocol officers to provide security to candidates.
Carlos informed the daily security assessment to ensure the safety of candidates in the venue of the beauty contest.
The coronation night of the 65th Miss Universe beauty pageant at the Mall of Asia Arena is set on January 30, 2017.
