SEARCH AND RESCUE MISSION FOR 18 PERSONS OF SUNKEN RORO VESSEL IN BATANGAS




Search operation for the 18 passengers of the sunken MV Starlite Atlantic at the side of Tingloy Island in Batangas is still on going.

Joselito Castro of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office said that the vessel was just lurking on the island when pounded by the strong waves.

First rescued by staffs of the village[baranggay] were the 14 passengers and also recovered the remains of one.
