Philippine National Police (PNP) now clarified that they did not and will not give special treatment to the alleged Visayas drug lord Kerwin Espinosa.
This was the statement of PNP after Police, Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido revealed that Espinosa is still using cellphone even in the custody of the National Police.
PNP Spokesman Senior Superintendent Dionardo Carlos explained that only a permission from PNP-AIDG is what Espinosa needed to use cellphone.
Nevertheless, Carlos assured them that they will confirm the report against Espinosa to the AIDG.
